A
personal conference between designer and client
forges the foundation of your original carpet.
Selecting the color scheme, dimensions, carpet
style and weave establishes the overall visual
concept for your piece.
Next,
pencil sketches and color swatches based on the
preliminary consultation are submitted to the
client.
The
selection of colors & design is finalized,
and a full color painting of your proposed design
is created.
Upon
approval, the rendering is then submitted to our
studio in China or Nepal, where your colors are
expertly matched through a hand dyeing process.
A
one-to-one scaled drawing is created for reference
before the weaving can commence.
Skilled
weavers create your carpet, which, once
completed, is shorn by hand to the prescribed
density. It is then washed and shorn again, to ensure an even and consistent
surface. |
